The Philippines; Nhagzventures Travel Journey

There are many reasons why I love the Philippines. It is not that I am a Filipino Citizen. But I can see that my Country has its great culture, tradition and values. Where Philippine culture is a combination of Eastern and Western cultures. The Philippines exhibits aspects found in other Asian countries with a Malay heritage, yet its culture also displays a significant number of Spanish and American Influences. Traditional festivities in the country known as barrio fiestas (distric festivals) to commemorate the feast days of patron saints are common. The community celebrations are times of feasting and dancing such as Moriones, Ati-atihan and Sinulog.

When it comes to values. Filipinos are rooted primarily in alliance personal systems, especially those bases in kinships, obligations, friendship, religion (particularly Christianity) and commercial relationships.

Philippines has been recognized as the richest country when it comes to Natural resources. Also, the country was estimated to have the second-largest gold deposits after South Africa and one of the largest copper deposits in the world.

As a traveler, adventurer and nature lover. One of the reasons why I loved the Philippines because of its composition of about 7,500 Islands. Where, every time you visit to a certain town or province you will really see mountainous islands that were covered in tropic rainforest. The highest mountain which is Mount Apo. It measures up to 9,692 ft. above sea level and situated on the island of Mindanao. The longest river is the Cagayan river in Northern Luzon. Laguna de bay the largest lake in the Philippines.

Also, Philippines has many active volcanoes such as Mayon Volcano in Albay ,Mount Pinatubo and Taal Volcano in Tagaytay. Due to volcanic nature of the Islands, mineral deposits are abundant.

When we talked about wildlife. The Philippines rainforests and its extensive coastlines make it home to a diverse range of birds, plants, animals and sea creatures. It is one of the ten most biologically megadiverse countries.
