Lake Danao Natural Park: Ormoc City’s Main Natural Attraction

Lake Danao can be reached through Ormoc City, which is a 125 km. ride from Tacloban City (2 to 3 hour ride). At 700 meters above sea level, the lake has a cool temperature of 21 -26 degrees Celsius and is said to be the habitat of giant eels.
